Oct 29 | 5:30 - 6:30 PM | Financial Aid Night | Santa Fe Prep Auditorium, 1101 Camino de la Cruz Blanca: Chris George, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at St. Olaf College (MN), will break down the differences between need-based aid and merit scholarships, discuss the FAFSA and CSS Profile, and address the rising costs of college. SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
The QuestBridge application deadline is September 26. QuestBridge partner colleges offer full four-year scholarships to students from limited-income backgrounds, and they matched a record number of students last year. UNCF/UPS Scholars Program is for students with unmet financial need who are already enrolled in either a 4-year, 2-year, or vocational certificate program. Award amounts range from $1,250 to $5,000, depending on level of program, but it’s a one-time award. Application deadline is September 27 at 3pm Mountain.
The Coca Cola Scholarship is worth $20,000 and is open until September 30 at 3pm Mountain Time.
The Daniels Scholarship is for low-income students in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. The application opens September 16, and the deadline is October 18.
The Elks Scholarship ranges from $1,000-$7,500 per year, and is awarded to 500 students nationwide. The application deadline is November 12.
The Hagan Scholarship supports high-achieving, goal-driven students in their goal to graduate college debt-free. Hagan provides up to $15k per year, plus a $2k starter grant, and also gives students money to invest in the stock market. The application opens September 1, and the deadline is December 1.
December 1 is the priority scholarship deadline for most in-state and WUE schools.

Bilingual College Admission and Financial Aid Glossary: Developed in-house by ROCA and Davis New Mexico Scholarship staff. Covers admissions, financial aid, and scholarship terms in both English and Spanish.
